British Cars on the Mountain

Camelback Lodge was a wonderful setting as the base for Pennsylvania version of America's British Reliability Run. The weather was perfect, the colors were fantastic, and the organizers had fantastic routes planned.
As I mentioned, the weather was perfect and the colors were vibrant. Bob shot an incredible amount of video as we were riding through nature's canopy.
If I would have included all the video Bob provided, this video would have been over 7 minutes long. As it was, I accelerated the speed of the video, not my driving.
It was difficult to decide which clips I was going to use for this video.

For the full experience, make sure to turn on the speaker.

Dave & Charlene Hutchinson, from Delaware Valley Triumphs and Ragtops & Roadster, did an amazing job with ABRR. Eugene Toner, Sam Fiorani, Christen Fiorani, & Nicholas Fiorani were the support team from Ragtops & Roadsters making sure that no car was left behind. Many others on the committee were also the backbone of the event.

Results for Team Big Blue

Bob and I are extremely grateful for our 61 donors that helped us raise $7,850. We set an all time record for the highest amount ever raised for the PA version of America's British Reliability Run. The PA ABRR raised $54,159 for Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and we are extremely proud to have contributed to the wonderful cause.

Shriners Children's Hospital - Philadelphia

Yes, Bob and I had a great time.

We want all of our donors to remember what is was all about . . . a great cause.

Shriners Children's Hospital Philadelphia is committed to improving the lives of children. They have a team of highly trained medical specialist caring for the most routine of the rarely seen pediatric orthopaedic conditions, cleft lip and palate, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, and spinal cord injuries.

Big Blue, Bob, and I

We had a blast, 3 days of driving. Approximately 550 miles from Camelback through Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey and back to Camelback on Friday and Saturday. A short drive around Camelback area on Sunday.

Saturday Break

Saturday afternoon break was at Equilibrium Brewery in Middletown NY. Interesting stop, however, could not really try more than 1 brew since I still had 77 miles to drive.

Just WOW

We have so many great images of the drive. . . but we cannot share them all on this storybook. Here a few.

Notice special cars here. The red TR250 and blue XKE. I need more garage space.

The Drives

Everyone always asks, "Where did you go?" Take a look at these maps

Did Someone Say FOOD?

Barley Creek Brewing
Just a short drive down the road from Camelback is Barley Creek Brewing. One of the starters on the menu was a must try for me.

Southwest Deviled Eggs
Southwest inspired deviled eggs with bacon, jalapenos, and cheddar jack cheese.

They were wonderful.
Trails End Pub & Grille
A long walk through the resort to Camelback's Trails End Pub & Grill. I really enjoy good nachos. Had already finished dinner so we showed restraint and did not order, however, that did not stop us for coveting an neighbors nachos.

Mile High Trash Can Nachos
Signature cheese sauce, monterey jack cheese, jalapenos, pickled onions, scallions, black beans, homemade pico, sour cream.
Delivered to you in a can that is flipped over on your plate. I will have them at AHSTC Encounter 2025.

K & T Vintage Sports Cars

Bob and I are extremely grateful to Ken Beck and everyone at K & T that worked on Big Blue prior to ABRR 2024. Big Blue ran flawlessly for the entire 3 days. We never needed the rescue truck and trailer.
